This 3 layered winter smoothie is a bomb! Made with seasonal winter fruits like strawberries, guava, black grapes and oranges, its refreshing and really delicious. Its inspired by my recent trip to Dubai. With three gorgeous white, pink and orange layer, it kept me full and hydrated for long hours during the trip.
Some might wonder that I post lot of recipes of smoothies. I love them! They are so easy to make and serves as a nourishing and substantial meal at any time of the day. All you to have to do is spin your favourite fruits and vegetables in the blender and you get creamy, naturally sweet smoothies.
Winter is at its peak in India. I am reminiscing about my childhood spent in Rajasthan at my mother's house. We loved soaking the sun on the garden porch and munching delicious amrood (guava), oranges, grapes, mooli and gajar. Oh my! I can go on and on about winters!
To say that every year,I literally gorge on strawberries during this time would be an understatement. I have so many recipes on the blog using strawberries. To name a few, Strawberry brownie trifle, Strawberry Rabdi (indian pudding), Strawberry and almond meal cake, Strawberry and beetroot salad, Strawberry and Pineapple smoothie.
